Overview
Within one month of engaging with our candidate, we helped them secure a Legal Director role at a national law firm based in Oxford, providing them with the ideal next step in achieving their career ambitions.
Process
Following a referral, Charles Magill was introduced to our candidate who wasn’t proactively looking for a new role but was at a stage of considering their current position and taking a view of the market.
As this was the first time our candidate was making a move in private practice, Charles worked with them closely to gain a deep understanding of what they wanted in the next step of their career journey.
Working exclusively with Charles, he was able to map out the market clearly and concisely for the candidate. This built up a detailed picture of the law firms in the local region that would be a good fit in terms of the make-up of a client portfolio, the culture, and most importantly, the appeal of the candidate’s skillset and experience.
Once we had discussed and reviewed the mapping exercise, a plan was formed to approach a select number of firms which ultimately resulted in our candidate securing the perfect role with 4 weeks from our first conversation.
